The Kershaw "Multi-Tool" is unlike any other multi-purpose tool. It's claim to fame are its locking needle nose pliers, like Vice-Grips. It also doesn't fold like the other tools and as a result is 6 3/4 inches long when closed. At 8.75 ounces it's right up there with the Super Tool as far as weight goes, but the size does make it somewhat awkward to carry on your belt. Not as big as a typical fixed blade sheath knife, but far longer than any of the other tools, though relatively thin.
A one hand opening 3 inch drop point partially serrated blade opens out from the tool's top handle, locking in place with a liner lock. There's also a replaceable (by undoing the pivot) 2 1/2 inch hacksaw blade, which is great for use on metal. The rest of the tools are pretty boring after all that, a course/fine file (2 1/4 inches), can/bottle opener, and medium slotted (1 1/2 inch) and #2 Phillips (1 7/8 inch) screwdrivers. Not many tools for a multi-purpose tool of this size. All the tools lock in place via a latch which pivots onto a stud to hold the handles closed. Somewhat hokey, but effective. The lower handle is inscribed with a ruler.
The Kershaw is much more of a specialty tool than the others. The locking pliers are a really nice touch, but the size makes it a bit unwieldy to carry, as well as to usethe knife and other tools. With only a single slotted screwdriver, it almost demands you carry some other tool or SAK for additional utility. It comes with a nylon sheath, a leather one is an extra cost option.
